Wood chips - hardwood chips
Like Cogent Fibre’s softwood chips, our mixed hardwood chips are made from necessary tree thinning in the South Eastern United States. Chosen specifically for their suitability in the manufacture of MDF, particleboard, pulp/paper and wood pellets, they are the first choice of producers who insist on quality chips delivered on time and on spec.
Production
Cogent Fibre’s mixed hardwood chips are harvested from base-cut trees, debarked, and fed into chipping machines. Finally, they are sorted to spec and finish as clean, mixed hardwood chips.
