Wood chips - mixed hardwood chips
Like Cogent Fibre softwood chips, our mixed hardwood chips are made from the necessary tree thinning in the southeastern United States and are selected specifically for their suitability in the manufacture of MDF, particleboard, pulp/paper and wood pellets. Our mixed hardwood chips do not contain any oak species.
Production
Cogent Fibre mixed hardwood chips are harvested from base-cut trees, debarked, and fed into chipping machines. They are sorted to spec and finish as clean mixed hardwood chips.
